The Position
Design, Develop and implement Manufacturing Intelligence (MI), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Control solutions at leading Global companies. In this function Statements of Requirements, Concept Designs, Functional Design Statements, Product Selection assessments are turned into Detailed Technical Designs and Implementations followed by 24/7 Service Level Agreements.The Person
The right candidate holds a University degree with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in the Industrial Automation and/or Information Technology markets. The Solutions Architect will have demonstrable experience of very high level design, experience in working in a Windows environment and will have designed IT systems as part of a manufacturing solution. Although this is an IT Solutions Architect positron, it is essential that the successful candidate comes from a manufacturing background and has an excellent understanding of the industry. In addition to strong technical knowledge the candidate will be highly skilled at identifying problems, the tasks that needs to be put in place and writing proposals to ensure the solutions are put in place successfully. As part of duty the Solutions Architect will need to consider security implications and data network problems Design or application development experience with MES software packages like Siemens Simatic IT or SAP ME/MII are a plus. Thinking to win trust, presentation and communications skills coupled with enthusiasm are character traits we are seeking. A willingness to learn and travel is essential in this position.The Benefits
